The Palestinian delegation left but said it « was not out of the negotiations », and affirms that the Israeli departure had been “pre-programmed”. The Palestinian delegation has repeatedly demanded the end of the blockade of Gaza, which has lasted for years, but Israel requires the demilitarization of Gaza. Palestinians also demand the opening of a port and of an airport in Gaza, but Israel has totally excluded that idea from the discussions, which would allow Gazans to have unlimited access to the outside world.

He has sold himself to the Israeli public as a warmonger and his government is almost a military government.
