Peter J. Jacques is Professor of the School of Politics, Security, and International Affairs and the National Center for Integrated Coastal Research at the University of Central Florida. He is an Earth Systems Governance Senior Fellow, former Co-Director of the Florida Climate Institute at UCF, and the President of the Association of Environmental Studies and Sciences for 2018-2020. He has written six books on environmental politics and published in, among other places, Political Geography, Marine Policy, Environmental Politics, and Global Environmental Politics. His book, Sustainability: the Basics, is in its second edition (Routledge 2021) and is being translated into Spanish.
