Elisabeth Heinz is a German-Italian researcher. She is a recent Bachelor’s graduate from the trilingual university of Bolzano (Italy) in Economics and Social Sciences, where she received a second class honours, upper division (2:1).
Her majors were economics and European law. She completed her studies by writing her bachelor thesis about “The role of the German constitutional identity within the context of the judicial acceptance of European primauté”.
Currently, she is enrolled in her second year of Master’s degree at the Hertie School in Berlin (Germany), where she studies public policy. Her specialization is in policy analysis thanks to which she has been able to develop quantitative and qualitative analysis expertise necessary to critically evaluate policy solutions to pressing societal problems.
In 2020 she completed her Diploma in EU Affairs at the Italian Institute for International Political studies (ISPI) in Milan, Italy.
Elisabeth’s focus is on EU issues, and primarily on the Union’s legal and economic framework as well as on its enlargement policies. Besides this, she is also interested in conflict analysis and diplomacy-related topics.
