Linnea Engström was a member of European Parliament (2014-2019), She is Distinguished Fellow of the European Institute for International Law and International Relations. She is a Public policy expert with a focus on social and environmental sustainability. Science-driven with an excellent network in Scandinavia as well as the EU. Linnea Engström has been involved in most of the initiatives and legislation in the Gender Equality and Human rights committee, Environment and Fisheries Committees in the European Parliament during last mandate. Rapporteur on the first EU report on Climate Justice. Rapporteur on EU External Fishing Fleet. Lead delegations to follow up the EU-Commission work against illegal and unreported fishing in third countries such as Thailand and Mauritania, and in RFMO:s ICCAT and IOTC.
